Further analysing the survey
Individuals were asked to rate their reliance of mobile applications, 1 meaning they do not rely on apps and 5 meaning that they cannot live without apps. We can clearly see that majority (60%) of survey takers answered that mobile apps are a huge part of their lives.
This resuly was very surprising to me since I barely use my phone and the number of people who use their phones 3 and more hours a day actively is astounding (80%). I underestimated peoples time spent on their phones.
The answer here was not that surprising since Android OS is dominating the global mobile phone market.
Here I asked individual to rate their concern on a scale from 1 to 5 (1 means they're not concerned, 5 means very concerned) about apps collecting their data. And majority of people chose options 4 and 5 which leads me to believe that people nowadays are very concious of their private information.
This leads to believe that number one reason people delete their apps is annoying advertisments. People seem to hate apps that actively try to get their attention.
In conclusion this survey made me realise that people that are into computing spend a lot of time on their phones and are very conscious of their private information.
